Fashion Schau 2016: RE-Modeled February 26, 2016 Doors open at 7pm, Schau to follow SERVitecture is hosting its 5th Annual Fashion Schau on Friday, February 26th in the main space of Knowlton Hall. Doors will open at 7:00 for appetizers and mingling, with the schau to follow shortly after. If you're unfamiliar with the Fashion Schau, it's a great event that has gotten bigger each year, filled with food, music, and creative design. Student designers create wearable designs by recycling and repurposing materials and objects. Using reusable or recycled materials is especially important this year, as the theme is "RE-modeled". This theme has also been implemented into the runway set design. The designers each choose their own model to showcase their creation on the runway. Knowlton faculty members judge the designs based on best use of recycled materials, creativity, and more. All proceeds from this event go to Dress for Success Columbus, a national non profit organization that helps empower women in their communities to become more self-sufficient through access to professional attire and career development tools. Tickets are $5 and go on sale starting February 16th. They can be purchased from a SERVitecture officer or at the door the night of the Schau. This event is open to everyone, so bring your friends and support a fantastic organization, right here in Columbus. Enjoy a fun evening of food, music, and fashion!
